Free tool · one worker, one week · no signup

Fill the real WH‑347 form.

Enter one worker's hours for one week and download the official DOL form, filled and ready to sign. Nothing is uploaded or saved: close the tab and it's gone, so there's nothing to protect and nothing to consent to.

This free version totals hours and fills the form. It does not check your rate against the wage determination, that's a separate step, the free wage lookup does it manually, or Certified Payroll does it automatically as you type, for a full crew, every week, with the totals carried forward. Sign up free, no card required.

Required for the certified payroll to be valid. Six certifications are checked automatically based on what you entered above.

PDF generated. Check the download, sign page 2, and file it the way your contract requires.

This form's rate was never checked against a wage determination. If you want that done automatically next time, Certified Payroll catches it before you download, not after.

Nothing is uploaded. The PDF is built in your browser.

More than one worker this week?

This free tool caps at one worker so it stays genuinely simple. A real crew needs continuation sheets, a rate check per classification, and the same roster carried into next week automatically. That's the actual product:

  • Every rate checked live against the SAM.gov wage determination as you type
  • Any number of workers, with continuation sheets generated automatically past eight
  • Last week's roster and rates pre-filled for this week
  • Every filing kept for the three-year record requirement
Try it free No card required. First 2 payrolls free, then $79/month.

What this free version does and doesn't do

It fills the same fields a paid tool would: worker identification, hours split into straight time and overtime, the wage rate, fringe, and deductions, then totals gross pay, deductions, and net pay the same way the DOL's own instructions describe. It fills page 2, the Statement of Compliance, with the certifications that apply based on what you entered.

What it deliberately skips: it does not know what you're supposed to be paying. It has no connection to any wage determination, so a rate that's too low will still produce a clean-looking PDF. Checking that is a separate, manual step here, either against the free wage lookup or by reading the determination yourself. It's also capped at one worker per week and doesn't save anything, by design, so there's no account, no data retention, and nothing for either of us to secure.

Common questions

Is the PDF this generates the real WH-347?+

Yes. It's the official DOL file (Rev. January 2025, OMB No. 1235-0008), the same one published at dol.gov, with your entries placed onto it. Nothing about the form itself is altered.

Does this check whether I'm paying the right wage?+

No. This free tool only totals hours and fills the form. Checking a rate against the wage determination is a separate step, either manually with the free wage lookup or automatically inside Certified Payroll.

Why is it limited to one worker?+

Past one worker, a crew needs continuation sheets and a rate check per classification, that's a different job than a quick free filler is built for. Certified Payroll covers that case.

Is my data saved anywhere?+

No. Everything you type stays in your browser tab and is built into the PDF locally. Nothing is sent to a server, stored, or logged. Close the tab and it's gone.

Can I use this for a state prevailing wage form instead?+

No, this fills the federal WH-347 only. Some states (California among them) require their own separate format on top of it for state-funded work.
